The Technical Writer Internship will support our Cyber Security team in our Technology Division. What is Cyber Security at Wellmark? At Wellmark we take a holistic approach to Cybersecurity. Identify and create risk management strategy and governance tools, structure and process. Protect through Identify and Access Management, training & awareness, data security, information protection processes & procedures. Detect anomalies and events through continuous monitoring and detection processes. Respond with communications, analysis, mitigation and continuous improvement. Recover with planning, communication and improvement.
What projects might I support? Although subject to change, examples of projects you will be contributing to include :
- Provide day to day experiences of collaboration and partnership with various leaders and teams; focus on small scale deliverables, building interpersonal relationships, exposure to cross divisional elements of the Wellmark organization
- Create clear and concise technical documentation, including articles, job aides, appendices, and user guides; ensuring accuracy and clarity in documentation and may assist with layout work to ensure documents are visually accessible and well-organized.
- Work closely with engineers, developers, and subject matter experts to gather and translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly documentation.
- Assist in layout and formatting to create visually organized, easy-to-read documents. Ensure consistency in style, tone, and formatting across all technical documentation.
