Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the practice, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Oversee office management tasks, including scheduling, patient flow, and record management.
- Implement and maintain efficient systems for patient care, billing, and financial management.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize utilization management and improve patient outcomes.
- Utilize practice management software such as Athena One to streamline operations.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures.
- Foster a positive work environment by leading staff training programs and performance evaluations.
- Ensure effective communication between departments to enhance patient care services.
Experience
- Proven experience in managed care or a similar role within a dental or veterinary office setting is preferred.
