Part-Time Rig Driver

Description

We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Rig Driver to join our team. This role involves safely operating our fleet of mobile rig vehicles. You will work under the supervision of the Manager, ensuring that all driving responsibilities are met efficiently. The part-time position offers a competitive monthly salary, depending on your experience.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a 36-foot rig vehicle for morning and afternoon drop-offs and pick-ups.
• Perform basic driving maintenance, including routine checks and reporting any vehicle issues to the Manager.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and fuel usage.
• Communicate effectively with team members and address any issues that arise in the field.
• Clean and organize vehicles when not deployed, ensuring both interior and exterior cleanliness.
• Adapt to varying start and end times for the split schedule and assist with occasional weekend work if needed.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience in a customer service environment.
• Minimum one year of experience driving and maintaining large vehicles.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  
  

Additional Requirements

• Ensure all required documentation compliant with DOT regulations is current and valid.
• New Mexico Driver History Record.
• Ability to pass an Albuquerque Public School Background Check.
• Proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with computer software applications, including Google products.
• Knowledge of local streets in Bernalillo County..
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Heavy & Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver.
