What You’ll Accomplish
Our Supply Chain Planners are responsible for supporting the consumer demand plan through strategic inventory planning with the objective to ensure high fill rates while minimizing obsolescence. In this role, you will collaborate with our demand planning and procurement teams to optimize inventory and encourage asset utilization. You will develop and execute our supply plan, determining priorities and implementing strategies to reduce out-of-stock and over-stock issues. This is a great role for a developing supply chain professional seeking to leverage and continue to develop their analytical and project management abilities while flexing their ability to think strategically and collaborate cross-functionally. This role reports to our Supply Chain Manager. Our Supply Chain Planners:
- Plan inventory purchases needed to meet the forecasted consumer demands as forecasted
- Report and track inventory levels at our distribution centers and supplier KPIs
- Monitor inventory level to prevent excess inventory
- Collaborate with the broader operations team on key process improvements projects and ideas
- Support new product introductions
- Identify inventory constraints due to lead times, transit times, and material shortages
- Monitor monthly and weekly production plans, prioritizing certain work orders
- Track inventory levels at our retail distribution centers and allocate product as needed
- Monitor movement of materials through purchasing, storage, production, and distribution
- Set preferred stock levels and prevent excess inventory

- A bachelor's degree in supply chain management or logistics
- Data modeling and materials planning experience
- A minimum of three to five years of ‘retail facing’ demand management and supply chain planning experience within consumer products manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated analytical skills, adept at using advanced Excel functions and other analytical tools
- Able to lead (without direct-line authority) the broader organization to the achievement of common goals
- Experience using ‘commercial off-the-shelf’ planning systems (demand planning, master scheduling, DRP/MRP, ERP)
- Will be based out of our corporate office in Burlington, Massachusetts four days each week on a synchronized hybrid schedule
