Our Manager of Sales Strategy & Planning will be the cross-functional liaison of the sales team to develop and execute the strategic initiatives that will drive growth for the organization. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales Strategy & Customer Experience, our Manager will have one direct report.
This position is based out of our Burlington, MA headquarters, where we work in-office Monday through Thursday each week, and remotely on Fridays. Team members must reside within or be willing to relocate to a commutable distance from our Burlington office.

What You’ll Accomplish
- Sales Forecasting & Planning:
- Lead the coordination of sales forecasts into actionable operational & financial forecasts.
- Key stakeholder within the monthly S&OP process
- Lead the New Customer Onboarding process across a cross functional group of individuals to ensure key stakeholders have visibility and direction to onboarding a new customer
- Trade Spend Management:
- P&L Management: to include tracking of spend approvals, reconciliation of trade spend, and tracking against progression of the year
- Owner of the trade spend management system & process
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner with marketing, finance, operations, and other departments to ensure the alignment of sales strategies with company objectives.
- Support the sales team by providing insights and resources to enhance their performance, including the ownership of the commercial retail readiness
- Partner with Marketing to create best-in-class, retail ready execution
- Management of sales communication (product change requests, supply chain adjustments, product transitions and launch)
- Ownership of the execution of two key industry trade shows

- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, sales strategy/planning, or a related role within the CPG industry
- A proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies and achieving business targets
- Strong experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders
- Proficiency in sales and trade spend software
- Advanced Excel skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail
