What are the responsibilities and job description for the Correctional Nurse (FT) position at Wellpath.us?
Our nurses are responsible for assisting in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Under the supervision of the Health Services Administrator (HSA), directs and guides patient teaching and activities that are commensurate with his/her education and demonstrated competencies.
Education:
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing or hold Paramedic Certification.
Experience:
- One (1) or more years of clinical experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) or Paramedic Certification.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) within the state or Paramedic Certification.
- Current CPR certification.
