POSITION SUMMARY
The Field Supervisor will play a vital role in providing overnight assistance to residents and staff, as directed by the Administrator. We are looking for a self-motivated, compassionate, and energetic individual to be an essential link between our residents, caregivers, and administrators across a multi-location operation. The ideal candidate should be flexible and able to adapt to a work environment that requires frequent shifts in direction. The CNA should have great communication skills and be able to clearly express all concerns and issues of residents and caregivers to the Administrator.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Check on residents during night shift – Create a schedule of facility rounds based on the needs of the residents.
- Be able to collaborate with colleagues on the field and share responsibilities.
- Assist in resident discharges – Remove resident files, medications, and DME from the home.
- Observe residents for signs of infection (respiratory and urine)
- Observe residents for skin tears and wounds.
- Observe other changes in condition and report to the Administrator.
- Be able to follow protocols for calling 911.
- Ability to receive calls from hospitals, paramedics, caregivers, and family members overnight.
- Assist with activities of daily living.
- Report resident, caregiver, family, and other issues to the Administrator/supervisor.
- Assist caregivers in keeping the homes, resident rooms, and restrooms clean and organized.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Active CNA Certification
- Criminal background clearance is required.
- Two years of experience (assisted living setting preferred).
- Knowledge of state elderly care regulations and procedures is highly valued.
- Reliable transportation.
- First Aid/CPR Certified.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Pre-employment physical and TB Test required per state regulations.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
