Memory Care Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The Caregiver will work closely with clients in an assisted living environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide medication administration as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Support individuals with disabilities and autism by implementing personalized care plans.
• Assist clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Respect resident rights and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.
• Document care provided and any changes in client condition accurately.

Experience

• Previous experience in community care, or as a caregiver is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with dementia care practices is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of assisted living environments or nursing home settings is beneficial.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
