What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Coordinator position at Wells Construction, Inc.?
Job Purpose:
Provide multiple Project Managers with administrative support for their projects. This position requires a great deal of organization and diligence to ensure a high level of service.
Duties:
- Responsible for the clerical organization of projects from set up through closeout
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all job team
- Ensure project documentation is archived following current process and naming conventions
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
- Submit permit applications, notice of completion and other AHJ required documents as needed
- Research city waste management requirements for each project and ensure project complies with set requirements.
- Coordinate the set-up of temporary facilities and job binders for a safe and productive jobsite
- Book hotel for field employees
- Scan, upload, print, and/or read blueprints for each project.
- Process prime contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, RFQs, subcontractor change orders and owner change orders
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and Accounting team to ensure correct cost codes are being utilized throughout each project
- Assist in the processing of submittals, RFIs and other owner requirements
- Assist the Superintendent with inspection scheduling
- Work with the Project Manager and Superintendent to secure, organize and submit all project close out documents in a timely manner.
- Other duties as may be assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative role in a commercial construction environment. Excellent organization skills required. Must be able to follow through on tasks independently. Must possess strong computer proficiency and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to prioritize multiple competing tasks within a fast-paced and team-based environment.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
