Job Description
Oversees day-to-day execution of manufacturing activities that includes the actual production, sanitation and production set-up for designated area(s), product or product lines in accordance with relevant food safety and sanitary legislation (FDA, etc). Drives alignment of production strategies, goals and objectives with day-to-day activities in the areas of quality, safety, delivery and cost. Oversees consistent execution of plant cleaning and sanitation programs and practices, including CIP systems and mix pumps, in accordance with all Sanitary and Food Safety requirements.
- Manages day-to-day execution of production, sanitation, CIP and production set-up activities to ensure optimal performance in the areas of safety, quality, cost and delivery and adherence to food safety and quality requirements.
- Ensures execution of standards of work to ensure process compliance throughout the production and sanitation functions.
- Develop and build capability of people as individuals and teams through a variety of techniques and tools focused on motivation, teamwork, mentoring and coaching.
- Supports and maintains a continuous improvement (CI) culture across assigned work teams; serves as a leader of change across the function.
- Manages and executes labor and production schedules and plans to ensure appropriate coverage in support of attainment goals. Actively seeks opportunities to optimize cost structure in the areas of materials, scheduling, labor, etc.
- Support the execution of New Production Development, capital projects and other initiatives at the production phase.

Qualifications
In addition to the responsibilities listed above, other duties may be assigned by your supervisor, as dictated by business necessity.
EDUCATION : Bachelor's degree in related field or commensurate experience required.
EXPERIENCE : Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in a in a medical product, food or nutritional product manufacturing setting. Previous experience in an FDA / USDA regulated industry.

The base pay range for this position is $94,503.32 to $132,304.65 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This pay range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
