Job Description
Develop controls components such as PAC, safety devices, HMI, servo drives, processing hardware and robotic systems across the company. Manages the electrical and controls aspect for all projects with-in Engineering.
- Develop new industrial electrical control panels which are NFPA79 / NEC / UL508A compliant, and create electrical, pneumatic, and fluid schematics. Develop PAC and HMI logic which is organized, structured, documented, maintainable, reusable, modular, intuitive, diagnostic, and completely integrated with all component faults and parameters. Develop PAC and SCADA code will interact with subsystems such as servos, instrumentation, vision, robots, Ignition, and 3rd party equipment.
- Review and follow project requirements and scope of work. Work within project teams consisting of project managers, engineers, fabrication, electrical, process piping, and contractors. Clearly communicate Controls needs and timing to each of the team members to ensure on time / on budget completion of controls installation and integration, as well as overall project.
- Work closely with electrical contractors by reviewing scope of work and providing prints. Giving contractor clear direction and setting timelines to have work completed.
- Develop and audit security and user access processes on all process controls hardware and software applications. Continuously combat new security risks on control system hardware and software applications. Manage remote OEM VPN and local access. Manage Asset Center between all facilities.
- Develop and update server applications and infrastructure. Develop and update PC images and VMs.
- Manage or build control cabinets, field wiring, pneumatic and fluid plumbing.
- Design and develop safety solutions per risk assessments. Verify and validate safety solution meets design requirements. Document as built safety solution.
- Introduce automated processes into production, and train and equip production to support automated equipment after deployment into production.

Qualifications

EDUCATION List the minimum education required to be qualified for the position, including certifications or licenses.
Bachelor's degree B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Process Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering from an accredited institution. Would consider related Associates degree with equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE List experience preferred to be qualified for the position -
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Power Distribution and or Process Controls Engineering. To include experience interacting with direct customer on a technical basis and managing and deploying power automation projects.
SPECIFICATIONS List specifications required for the job and indicate the importance and proficiency levels of each.

The base pay range for this position is $85,139.31 to $119,195.03 annually . Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This pay range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
