About this role :
Wells Fargo is seeking a Credit Risk Senior Manager with extensive commercial lending experience, and a proven track record of successful collaboration, to lead a team of business policy managers ensuring proper alignment with WHSL Credit Policy.
In this role, you will :
- Collaborate and enable a constructive environment to support the WHSL Credit Policy Rationalization effort.
- Lead a team of Business Policy Managers covering the Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, and Wealth & Investment Management businesses.
- Provide appropriate support to Business Policy Managers who are outside of the WHSL Credit Policy Office.
- Ensure businesses properly align to WHSL Credit Policies, within the required timeframes.
- Ensure best practices are leveraged across the businesses.
- Determine appropriate recommendations for business policy variances, exceptions, and violations.
- Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the WHSL Credit Policy Rationalization effort.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development to drive the company credit culture, desire, and business performance.
- Interact with internal and external customers.
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.
- Ensure conformity with company / regulatory policies and procedures.
