About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Due Diligence Consultant to join our Business Operations Team to work in the production environment going through and conducting Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) alert reviews and dispositions.
In this role, you will:
Mitigate risk by accurately executing upon due diligence screening within agreed upon time frames.
Exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables.
Assist with operational activities outside of standard work queue as needed including but not limited to workflow management, business continuity, data gathering, analysis, etc.
Provide subject matter knowledge, leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, to assist with process walkthroughs, procedure reviews, testing engagements, and transformation activities.
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, managers to resolve process and production related issues.
Review and analyze processes and controls for improvement opportunities.
Participate in focus group opportunities to assist with improvement efforts.
Partner with senior consultants to aid in training facilitation, quality review, and post training support for new screening consultants.
Assist senior consultants in the resolution of low to moderately complex issues.
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, managers and internal and external customers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Required Qualifications:
2 years of Due Diligence experience, or equivalent (including risk management, client service, operations support, or business process management) demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Working knowledge of BSA/AML programs
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
Strong analytical skills with high attention to details and accuracy
CAMS and/or CFE certification
Ability to interact and effectively communicate with all levels within the organization
Ability to collaborate with a geographically dispersed team
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge
Job Expectations:
Ability to work the hybrid model of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote each week.
