About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Corporate Development Senior Leader. The Corporate Development team is responsible for acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures for Wells Fargo. The ideal candidate has sharp analytical skills, demonstrated leadership experience across multiple complex transactions, sound critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, and ability to work in a cross matrixed environment. We are looking for a self-motivated person who learns quickly, thrives in a challenging environment, and can serve as a trusted advisor to the senior most leaders of the organization.
In this role, you will:
Support Wells Fargo's growth and efficiency efforts across all lines of business by leading the acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and investments consistent with corporate strategy.
Lead the financial analysis and organization of deals and projects that support individual lines of businesses as well as companywide initiatives.
Review, analyze, prepare, and interpret complex financial statements and models and develop and lead the approval presentations.
Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the Corporate Development, policies, procedures, compliance, and risk management requirements that influence and lead broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to complete diligence efforts and resolve deal issues to achieve goals.
Understand and support Separability work.
Be an active participant in negotiations and facilitating of legal agreements, through interaction with internal and external representatives.
Strategically lead and implement key risk initiatives, projects, and mentor less experienced teams.
Required Qualifications:
10 years of Corporate Development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
A Master’s degree or higher in finance
5 years of investment banking experience in the financial services industry sector
Demonstrated experience leading complex mergers and acquisition transactions
Strong communication skills, including experience advising C-suite executives
Knowledge of U.S. bank regulatory capital rules
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 10%

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$173,300.00 - $359,900.00Benefits
