Lead Java Software Engineer

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer.

This role is in the office three days a week, seated in the location on the req. This is not a remote position.

There is no Visa sponsorship or Visa transfers for this role.

This Lead Software Engineer sits within the cyber organization and is responsible for the design, development, testing, documentation, and analysis of general modules or features of new or upgraded software systems and products for our internal systems. We need someone who has skills as a lead level in REACTJS, NextJS, NodeJS/Javascript, Typescript, NoSQL/Mongo/DB.

You’ll aid in the architectural decisions, guide development processes and ensure development of a successful cyber security solution to address Saas within Wells Fargo. In addition, you will be instrumental in aligning with the strategic goals of to cyber security and data science/ architecture particular addressing critical risk area related to technology and data security.

In this role, you will:

• Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
• Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
• Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
• Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
• Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
• Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

5 years of experience with REACTJS, NextJS, NodeJS/Javascript, Typescript, NoSQL/Mongo/DB

Front-end technologies but the ideal fit is React or NextJS.

Knowledge and understanding of MS. NET

Knowledge and understanding of API Gateway

Experience working with SCRUM/Agile methodology
