About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Risk Analytics Consultant that will be an individual contributor role on the Finance Risk Management (FRM) – Liquidity Risk Oversight (LRO) team. This will be a high-visibility role requiring regular interactions with senior leaders across Financial Risk Management, Finance, Corporate Risk, Lines of Business, and Internal Audit.
In this role, you will:
The role will oversee the Finance Risk Management EcoSystem (FRMES), an application that collects and curates risk metric data for the Finance Risk Management organization. Additionally, the role will participate in Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) and Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) risk reporting and oversight. The role is expected to facilitate change management and administration of the FRMES application through its partial sunset phase and perform risk management and reporting activities in the CIB / WIM space. This role is expected to engage with business and control partners to complete required activities while following approved procedures and maintaining evidence control execution.
Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Application Business Owner (ABO) of the FRMES application including:
- Change management including user acceptance testing (UAT) for changes to the FRMES or upstream changes that impact FRMES.
- Record retention and classification activities related to the FRMES application.
- Quality assurance activities ensuring complete and accurate data in the application.
- Primary contact for Information Technology, Data Management and Insight, risk office control partners, and IT control partners.
- Develop effective presentations on the status of the FRMES application.
- Engage with FRM leadership, to maintain a common data strategy.
- Assist with Liquidity oversight of Broker Dealer activities including monitoring liquidity metrics
- Preparing daily liquidity reports summarizing legal entity metrics and metric breaches
- Assist in the evaluating the liquidity impact of New Business Initiatives for CIB/WIM
- Actively engage in key Finance risk governance routines including strategic planning sessions, governance committees and business reviews.
- Identify and escalate risks and proposed risk mitigating actions.
- Look for opportunities to enhance risk awareness and identify potential efficiencies.
- Evaluate cross-program and cross-group analytics to identify opportunities and best practices to influence stronger risk management.
- Develop and deliver oversight content summarizing the results of the independent risk assessment activities.
Required Qualifications:
5 years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: liquidity risk, finance/treasury/asset liability management.
- Experience with technology change management.
- Experience with data analytics on large datasets
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in banking and finance.
- Experience in bank liquidity and/or capital analysis including stress test scenarios.
- Experience working with deposits from a liquidity, finance, treasury, or capital perspective.
- Experience working with Intraday Liquidity Risk.
- Experience in bank regulatory matters, in depth knowledge of Liquidity Risk rules and regulations like regulation YY and others.
- Knowledge/experience with Institutional/Retail Broker Dealers
- Working knowledge of liquidity risk management concepts.
- Proven ability to foster constructive relationships with various levels of management.
- Experience communicating and presenting complex information to multiple levels of the organization including senior executive-level leaders
- Ability to be proactive in terms of identifying and addressing risk and management issues that are arising.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills.
Job Expectations:
- Ability to work at one of the approved locations in the job posting.
- Willingness to comply with our hybrid work model; working from a Wells Fargo facility at least three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely two days a week.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$111,100.00 - $197,500.00Benefits
