In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop large Loan Servicing teams responsible for loan processing, documentation, pre-closing or closing tasks, loan monitoring, loan servicing, or underwriting activities
- Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the Lending Operations functional area
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Lending Operations functional area
- Participate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelines
- Oversee implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, or business policies
- Determine appropriate strategies and actions of Lending Operations team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures for meeting compliance, risk management, and quality standards
- Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including experienced managers
- Interact with external vendors/service providers throughout the conducting of loan processing activities
- Provide quality customer service
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Lending Operations
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
- 6 years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3 years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
- 1 year of Auto Operations experience
- Previous experience with Auto Titles
- Leadership skills including coaching, training, and mentoring
- Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change
- Ability to identify risk exposures and propose solutions
- Solid conflict management and decision-making skills
- Ability to research and report on a variety of issues using problem solving skills
- Ability to assess current processes/procedures and make recommendations for efficiency
- Ability to track and report, help identify and streamline processes
- Experience dealing with escalated complaints
- Ability to communicate effectively with leadership
- Knowledge and understanding of Auto lending policies, and procedures
Job Expectations:
- Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
