About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Audit Manager, Executive Director on the Credit Risk Audit Team, who will provide leadership in the audit coverage of Wells Fargo's Consumer and Commercial credit risk management activities. The Senior Audit Manager is a people manager role that includes supervision, execution and oversight of multiple concurrent projects or audit engagements and provides credible challenge to business partners regarding the effectiveness of the control environment, business trends, issues, and operating and regulatory environment changes related to credit risk. The Senior Audit Manager will report to an Audit Director and will be accountable for developing and executing a comprehensive multi-year coverage strategy for his/her portfolio.
In this role, you will:
Manage a team of audit staff responsible for a defined segment of the Audit Plan
Be responsible for resource management and assisting broader team in overall audit plan completion
Assess associated risks and controls and complete engagements within their segment of the audit plan
Plan and organize work in an annual cycle, not just project cycle
Ensure audit engagements are risk-based, and executed according to Internal Audit policies and guidance
Build and maintain a proficient team of auditors
Provide timely feedback, coaching and monitoring of development plans
Develop and maintain excellent business relationships with leadership and other stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies
Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in Audit
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
6 years of Audit, Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3 years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of credit risk management including experience auditing Consumer Credit, Commercial Credit, and other credit related activities (e.g., Allowance for Credit Losses and risk reporting)
Experience at a large financial institution or accounting firm
A MS/MA/MBA degree or higher in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
Certification in one or more of the following: CISA, CIA, CFA or CPA
Strong understanding of financial regulatory environment
Solid knowledge and understanding of audit or risk methodologies and supporting tools
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to positively impact a team environment and across all organization levels, where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are important.
Ability to execute in a fast paced, demanding environment while balancing multiple priorities
Experience leading and providing feedback to engagement staff on audit projects and engagements
Experience of independently leading multiple projects simultaneously with an accountability mindset
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 10%

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00Benefits
