About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant in Sales Practices & Conduct Management.
Sales Practices & Conduct Management (SPCM)
SPCM is a front-line operation responsible for ensuring employees act ethically on behalf of Wells Fargo and are consistently doing what's right for customers and each other. The group provides enterprise-wide conduct functions, including the Ethics program, the Insider Threat Program, and Enterprise Investigations, to support the company in managing conduct-related concerns. SPCM is part of the Chief Operations Office (COO). We manage allegations of misconduct effectively when they arise, we reduce employee misconduct by sharing allegation insights with our business partners, and we demonstrate understanding and empathy for the employees that we serve.
Conduct Analytics & Reporting (CAR)
CAR is responsible for providing actionable information through (1) the identification of emerging risks, themes, and trends, (2) day-to-day operational analytics and reporting; (3) executive analytics and reporting; and (4) risk, regulatory and audit analytics and reporting.
CAR is looking for data and analytics SME to join our "Strategic Initiatives" team.
In this role, you will:
Understand the Conduct Management custom applications and processes to educate analytic community, communicate application/process enhancements and support implementation of application enhancements into database design.
Lead the business requirements design and document functional systems design in support of database initiatives
Create documentation for training, help resolve questions and recommend changes
Work within Agile process by leveraging Jira tools for database design implementation, submission of data questions and intake requests
Communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats
Drive the completion of multiple, concurrent tasks with aggressive time frames
Collaborate across people, processes, and technology/tools within a highly intensive and complex data environment
Required Qualifications:
7 years of Analytics and Reporting, Financial Modeling, Statistics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
5 years of SAS or SQL programming experience
1 year of Teradata experience
Expert knowledge and understanding of data modeling techniques.
Experience building and managing an advanced analytical function, preferably at a large financial institution.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong collaboration, coordination, influencing, and matrix management skills.
Extreme attention to detail and ability to understand risks and integration/interdependency of risks.
Flexibility and ability to prioritize and manage change.
Experience documenting non-technical business requirements and translating into technical requirement.
Experience implementing Agile processes leveraging Jira tools and partnering with Scrum Masters.
