In this role, you will:
Act as a subject matter expert requiring deep, industry specific expertise in governance and internal control over financial reporting or information technology governance and controls matters
Lead implementation of complex projects or initiatives with commercial banking impact
Recommend compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
Review significant direct impacts on function and direct impacts on lines of business
Communicate and provide strategic consultation to executive leadership throughout commercial banking
Oversee effective consultation and reporting related to multiple elements of the company's policy, governance, and oversight framework
Guide managers, consultants, and virtual teams in accomplishing goals
Interact with more experienced leadership to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business
Required Qualifications:
7 years of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting or Business and Technology Audit experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
A BS/BA degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Loan IQ System knowledge, transaction processing, mapping, and research experience
Experience resolving complex reconciliation issues, including foreign currency reconciliations
Experience with general ledger and transaction research
Experience with reconciliation systems (ex: IntelliMatch, EZOps, Alteryx)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience working with and organizing large data sets
Extensive experience in exception reporting
Knowledge and experience in process design, improvement, and automation
Job Expectations:
Ability to work a hybrid schedule
Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
