In This Role, You Will
- Defne the strategy, vision, and roadmap to drive responsible growth, profitability, and competitive advantage for various parts of Wells Fargo Credit Card
- Develop, test, analyze and implement product, credit, and marketing strategies to achieve the financial objective relevant to macro-economic conditions
- Define and execute investments in the credit infrastructure across testing, data, modeling, monitoring, execution systems
- Define and execute strategies to reduce complexity and increase execution quality through simplification of product features and terms
- Be responsible for ensuring all key regulatory and business requirements are met effectively for all implemented ideas
- Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals including senior leadership
- Lead projects by working closely with cross-functional teams (Credit, Marketing, Finance, Tech, Risk, Operations)
- 7 years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Credit card industry experience, especially at leading credit card issuer
- Experience across varying lending products (credit card, auto loans, personal loans)
- Experience owning and driving agenda in varying aspects of credit and lending risk (originations, customer management, fraud, collections)
- Experience in multiple credit card segments (consumer across full risk spectrum, small business, commercial, partnerships/co-brands)
- Experience in roles leading launches or implementation of new products or capabilities, or integrations/transformations of technology platforms
- Experience in data science or analytics roles involving projects with data infrastructure (data, platforms, models, monitoring tools)
- Strong understanding and application of risk management principles
- Strong conceptual thinking and ability to drive clarity in ambiguity while dealing with credit and operational problems
- Professional verbal and written presentation skills
- Expertise in credit, product, and marketing data and analysis
- Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills based on analysis, rigorous logic, market and consumer dynamics, and operational assessments
- A demonstrated focus on driving results through cross-functional team, whether direct or indirect reporting relationship
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
