You will leverage your Software Engineering and Product Owner experience to enable the Application Programming Interface (API) platform for all internal, as well as publicly accessible APIs. Make an impact with your experience of API architecture, API security, API governance, and the Apigee platform on our CDO team as we work to move API workloads to a hybrid cloud environment.
In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients’ needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
4 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3 years of Apigee experience
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge and understanding of API Architecture, API security, discovery, build, monitoring and analytics
Demonstrated understanding of API and the API Lifecycle
Knowledge of API security concerns and Open Worldwide Application Security Project (OWASP)
Experience as a Product Owner
Experience with Kubernetes preferably in public cloud environments of Azure and Google
Experience with private cloud environment, preferably Tanzu
Familiarity with Agile practices
Experience writing user stories in an Agile framework
Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
Ability to exercise independent judgment and take accountability
Ability to identify and evaluate trends, isolate root cause, and provide through resolution
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
Job Expectations:

Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
