This role supports many internal and external customers, resolves issues, and monitors various virtual systems. Primary responsibilities are monitoring ECLS, VMIC, NMIC, DE and EC applications ensuring all automated tasks are successfully completed, manually triggering non-automated batch jobs, reviewing higher dollar items for accuracy and escalating problems via phone, e-mail, and MS Teams. All duties are extremely time sensitive. The PMC department has a medium sized team across multiple sites requiring constant clear communication and teamwork to be successful.
In this role, you will:
- Support the technology team in providing solutions to the internal partners and external customers for moderately complex technical concerns in their respective functional area
- Be responsible for recording inquiries, as well as repair and service requests
- Track service request status and follow up with the client to ensure client satisfaction
- Perform moderately complex operational and customer support tasks related to technological issues
- Receive direction from supervisor and escalate questions and issues to more experienced individuals
- Interact with immediate team and Technology Business Services functional area on information related to routine tasks and client inquiries
- Interact with internal and external customers regarding any technical issues in their processes and resolution provided
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 2 years of check operations experience.
- Knowledge of Operations and Check Processing.
- 1 year experience escalating system related issues.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of departmental workflow processes.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft365 Office.
- Experience with the Enterprise Cash Letter System [ECLS], Virtual MICR Image Cashletter [VMIC], Non-MICR electronic Item
- Processing [NMIC, Data Distributor [DE] and Exchange Checkimage (EC) BATCHMOM, Online Image Browser [OIB] applications, Cross Channel Duplicate Detection [CCD] and Image Quality Inspection.
- Ability to interact with integrity and an elevated level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems.
Job Expectations:
- Schedule: Monday -Friday 4:00pm MST – 12:30am MST.
- Flexible - Schedule may be required to work additional hours prior to or after regular work schedule and occasional Sunday and Holidays.
- Cover multiple applications simultaneously when required.
