About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic individual to fill a Technology Business Services Director role. This position reports into the Head of the Office of the CIO for Consumer Technology supporting the Enterprise Data and Platform (EDP) divisional CIO and corresponding leadership team. This person will work collaboratively with the rest of Business Services and key partners such as the EDP Business, Finance, HR and Risk to drive a cohesive plan within EDP Technology.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop a highly specialized Technology Business Services team and managers with focus on delivering moderate to high complexity service for cross functional stakeholders and internal partners associated with the functional area or who are affected by its outcomes
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development by utilizing research and data in addition to in depth understanding of organizational goals, priorities, and technology while developing executable strategies and plans
- Lead Technology Business Services team by making strategic decisions to resolve highly complex issues to meet high risk deliverables
- Interpret and develop range of policies and procedures for technology business functions with moderate to high level of complexity and risk
- Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals including technology industry leaders, financial industry leaders, analysts, and regulators, as well as interact directly with more experienced leadership and executive management
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources across the EDP portfolio
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
- Act as liaison to Consumer Technology support groups such as HR, risk, and finance
- Track and manage day to day organizational requests including, but not limited to, technical audit, compliance, and reporting needs
- Resource Planning & Management including hiring plans, location and skills strategy.
- Track the EDP Technology Execution strategy
- Provide administrative and financial guidance to the divisional CIO
- Drive initiatives impacting the vertical/business unit as needed
- Develop business cases as needed Reconcile actuals to budget or forecast data; prepare variance explanations for EDP's Technology Leadership
- Provide insightful reporting and analysis to EDP's Technology Leadership using data from various sources
- Fulfill business service types of requests for CIOs, e.g., create functional org chart, location strategy monitoring, monthly team accomplishments
- Oversee Statement of Work (SOW) approvals, review, approve, and tracking
- Manage and facilitate daily operational meetings and engagement across the divisional CIO domain including but not limited to: Staff Meetings, Town Halls, Leadership Offsites
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of Technology Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4 years of Management experience

- 7 years of consulting experience in compensation, human resources, accounting, or finance
- Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
- Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive level leaders
- Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
- Ability to effectively partner and influence at the executive level
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to drive and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment
- Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Experience managing large technology development efforts within a major line of business
- Experience managing resource and hiring plans (including on-boarding, off-boarding, locating strategy, skills strategy)
- Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management Ability to turn preliminary or ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined plans, solutions, and test scripts
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills Experience writing and editing internal communications and training-related materials in a corporate environment or financial institution
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience within Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban)

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
