Wells Fargo is seeking a Due Diligence Consultant as part of the Wealth Investment Management (WIM) Financial Crimes High Risk Monitoring Team responsible for reviewing monthly client activity reports to identify high risk clients and transactional activity. In this role, you will:
- Review monthly client activity reports to identify high risk clients and transactional activity and assess to determine whether an exposure review is required
- Partner closely with corporate financial crimes team on FinCen’s 314(a) requests
- Assist with the execution of ad-hoc projects
- Consult and provide support to interpret policies, guidelines, and governance programs
- Support business in execution of reporting processes and controls
- Exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables
- Aggregate, evaluate and report results and escalate where necessary
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, managers, and internal and external customers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Maintain current knowledge of the external regulatory environment and continuously assess and report real and potential impacts and emerging risks to management
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of Due Diligence experience, or equivalent (including risk management, client service, operations support, or business process management) demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 2 years of Financial Crimes experience
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) experience
- Experience reviewing & assessing high risk clients
- Experience conducting reviews of financial transactions including on Securities related activities
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with the following applications: Beta software, Actimize or LexisNexis
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
- Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
