Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an enterprise-wide IT strategy aligned with Wells Lamont’s business goals
- Oversee the implementation, integration, and support of core business systems, including ERP, CRM, and supply chain technologies
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring data integrity, privacy, and compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to identify pain points and opportunities for digital innovation
- Manage and mentor IT team members, fostering professional growth and performance excellence
- Evaluate and implement cloud infrastructure solutions (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS) to support scalability and remote access
- Direct IT support services, ensuring high availability, uptime, and customer satisfaction
- Maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors and service providers
- Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing
- Establish key metrics and reporting tools to monitor system performance, security, and ROI of IT investments
- Support IT needs related to manufacturing and distribution centers, including network infrastructure and IoT systems
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- 10 years of experience in IT roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level position
- Proven experience managing IT operations across multiple locations or facilities, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Deep knowledge of enterprise applications, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar), and systems integration best practices
- Demonstrated experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure modernization, and SaaS deployment
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and risk mitigation strategies
- Hands-on experience with IT budgeting, vendor negotiations, and contract management
- Excellent leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Experience in M&A system integrations and IT due diligence is a plus
- Regular travel within the United States and Canada is required Travel will include visits to regional offices, manufacturing and distribution sites, and partner locations. Estimated travel is 25–35%, based on project and operational needs.
