What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Technician position at Wells Pharmacy Network?
We are looking for dynamic and hard working shipping technicians for our fast paced compounding pharmacy!
The Shipping Technician :
· Maintains all shipment related paperwork and records for loss of the data can cause great trouble.
· Double checks the shipping information and then printing off on the labels.
· Packages the items and delivering labels to shipping department.
· Inspects each and every shipment which is going out in order to ensure that nothing has been wrong in the process.
· Inspects each and every package in order to find the correct items, missing items, broken items and record them.
· Keeps the inventory records updated and assuring that the orders match the picking documents by carefully auditing the said documents.
· Assists and evaluates the needs with the shipping services, points, weights & freight permits.
· Maintains shipping stations in working order and also stocking them with materials.
· Notifies the consignee of matters related to shipment arrival and coordinating shipment information to offices.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
