Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting the Catalog Manager in creating, maintaining, and managing catalog data for external and internal use.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage the creation and maintenance of accurate and up-to-date catalog data that includes competitive and OE interchanges, vehicle application data, application qualifiers and part notes, with an emphasis on competitive interchanges.
- Collect interchange data by comparing online catalog data and using online searches to obtain interchange information.
- Resolve and validate interchange issues by collaborating with the Product Management Team.
- Assist Sales, Pricing and other teams with interchange requests.
- Maintain competitive interchange master database.
- Other job activities as assigned.
- High School Diploma required; Advanced Degree in Business or Marketing preferred; 2 years of experience in managing product information in an electronic format – preferably within the automotive industry. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proficient in the use of Access and Excel to develop statistical reports and analytics.
- Ability to communicate effectively with groups of customers, managers, employees, or the public.
- High degree of accuracy in work performed.
- Ability to prioritize work to meet required deadlines.
- Working knowledge of industry standards ACES, PIES
- Working knowledge of JNPSoft PartCat or other catalog software
- Ability to travel as needed
- Computer, phone, fax, and other electronic tools.
- Safety glasses and hearing protection as required.
- ESD smock and grounding equipment as required.
