Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting tool room and automation on new and existing projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Exposure to different machining operations.
- Assembly of fixture tooling and other industrial automation equipment
- Assist engineering teams with various projects.
- Other job activities as assigned.
Essential Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:
- Pursuing an associate’s degree in CNC/machining
- Self-starter with a positive attitude
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Problem solving skills, mechanical aptitude, organizational skills, and communication skills
Equipment Used:
- Measuring equipment such as micrometer, calipers, and pin gages
- Manual knee mills, grinders, drills, manual lathes
- Band saws, hand tools, taps
- Computer, telephone, and other misc. office equipment
Personal Protective Equipment/Clothing Required (PPE):
- Safety glasses and hearing protection as required.
- ESD smock and grounding equipment as required.
