ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Apply desired finish to concrete panels as shown on approved range samples
- Maintain consistent finish on panels over an extended period
- Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance as required
- Assist with patching of precast panels as required
- Finish samples for approval as required
- Perform inspections of equipment daily, to ensure it is maintained and in proper working condition
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- High school or equivalent (GED) preferred
- Bi-lingual preferred (English/Spanish)
- Experience working around sandblasting equipment
- Experience working about acids associated with finishing concrete
- Good oral communication skills required
- Ability to work in a team environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequently
- Ability to move around for up to 12 hours per day
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Indoor working conditions
- Frequently exposed to machine noise
- Frequently exposed to cement
- Sometimes exposed to dust
