ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Apply desired finish to concrete panels as shown on approved range samples
  • Maintain consistent finish on panels over an extended period
  • Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance as required
  • Assist with patching of precast panels as required
  • Finish samples for approval as required
  • Perform inspections of equipment daily, to ensure it is maintained and in proper working condition

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • High school or equivalent (GED) preferred
  • Bi-lingual preferred (English/Spanish)
  • Experience working around sandblasting equipment
  • Experience working about acids associated with finishing concrete
  • Good oral communication skills required
  • Ability to work in a team environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequently
  • Ability to move around for up to 12 hours per day

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Indoor working conditions
  • Frequently exposed to machine noise
  • Frequently exposed to cement
  • Sometimes exposed to dust
