ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect all overhead cranes before use at the beginning of each shift, check crane limit switches and fill out checklist on crane
- Safely transport panels
- Safely hook panels up to strip from the mold
- Inspect rigging daily before use
- Maintain clean safe work area
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- High school or equivalent (GED)
- Experience with cranes or machinery a plus. Will train completely for each crane
- Must be able to wear personal protection (PPE) such as work boots, respirators, hard hats, hi-vis vests, safety glasses and hearing protection
- Works close by, and exposed to, moving construction vehicles such as forklifts, front-end loaders, cranes and tractor-trailers
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Must be aware of locations and travel directions of other overhead cranes that may be in close travel proximity as not to hit or impact with other cranes
- Some lifting of various weights from 5-50lbs
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Indoor environment some limited outdoor
- Moderate exposure to machine noise
- Frequently exposed to moving overhead loads
