Job Overview
The Regional Operations Manager at Wells will oversee the strategic direction of the Sealant and Restoration division, ensuring alignment with the company's vision.
Responsibilities
- Lead regional teams to achieve operational excellence in sealants and restoration services
- Foster effective communication among stakeholders, clients, and team members
- Manage financials for the region, including profit and loss responsibility
- Collaborate with the Vice President to set short-term and long-term goals that align with group objectives
- Develop and implement budgets to meet regional revenue and profit targets
- Prepare capital expenditure forecasts up to three years in advance
- Manage fleet vehicles, project managers' vehicles, company drivers, and new vehicle orders
- Draft policies and procedures for optimal operational performance, including production goals and KPIs
- Establish tracking metrics for regional market success in project management, sales, and estimating
- Provide growth opportunities for direct reports through internal and external training
- Forecast human resource needs with the HR Manager and set targets in strategic plans and budgets
- Develop a client relations process and identify key clients for targeted growth
- Identify emerging markets complementary to existing business in sealants, restoration, and precast
- Assist project teams in high-risk project problem-solving
- Manage contracts for the region
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risk
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal communication skills for interactions with coworkers, supervisors, and managers
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- In-depth understanding of construction safety and OSHA requirements
- Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively
- Prior experience in large and complex projects is beneficial
- Professionalism and integrity in leading a team
- Motivation and self-driven approach to task completion
- Knowledge of joint sealants, waterproofing, air barrier systems, masonry/concrete restoration, and firestopping
- Understanding and acceptance of changes aimed at achieving Best-in-Class status
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
