Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Night Auditor/Night Watch to join our hotel team. As a Night Auditor/Night Watch, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and guest services during the night shift. In addition, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises and guests. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of hospitality standards.
Essential Functions
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival and departure, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage and process guest requests, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
- Conduct night audits, reviewing financial transactions, and ensuring that all front desk operations are accurate and up to date.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including the handling of keys and other hotel materials.
- Provide administrative support to the hotel team, including answering phones and responding to guest inquiries.
- Utilize phone etiquette to effectively communicate with guests, staff, and management.
- Work closely with the hotel team to ensure seamless transitions during shift changes.
- Vacuum the hotel lobby and dining room and rearrange table layouts.
- Assist in setting up hotel guest breakfast.
- Watering flowers or shoveling snow.
- Check common area doors to make sure they are locked.
- Calm disruptive or unruly guests and address noise complaints so other guests are not disturbed.
- Launder, fold, and transport towels between buildings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the efficient operation of the hotel.
Experience and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous hospitality experience preferred.
- Previous experience with Jonus or similar PMS advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
- Exemplify proper phone etiquette and guest relations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.60 per hour
