Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Product Management. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Product Management challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Leading internal customer research for understanding key problems and value drivers and synthesizing it into new platform capabilities
- Collaborating with FCM and enterprise data teams to ensure that our shared solutions meet LOB needs
- Leading strategy and roadmap development, defining and owning the product backlog, and end-to-end execution for the data platform teams
- Ensure the data platforms and services we build adhere to data governance policies and best practices, and compliance/privacy regulations.
- Defining product KPIs and success metrics
- Negotiating multiple needs from various teams to prioritize the right capabilities that generate the most value
- Defining, building towards, and launching MVPs that turn into successful products.
- Mentoring and coaching junior members of the product team
- Setting a strategy vision for various developer tools and related services to increase usage and deliver business results
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Previous product owner/management experience
- Background developing large data or case management solutions
- Experience in Modern Data Technologies, API management, Software development, Data Modeling or Cloud technologies
- Experience working with public cloud (e.g., GCP, Azure) and big data technologies such as Spark, Python, and Kafka
- Experience in Financial Services Industry
- Data governance, data integrity, and data ingestion experience
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
