Summary:
Covers jobs that drive oversight, governance, and management of critical data to support business needs, initiatives, and strategies. Consult with data product, data integrity, technology, and business partners to set standards, policies and practices for data flow, data framework, data access, documentation, quality and remediation. This sub-family is specific to contingent resources.
Responsibilities:
- Consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Data Management
- Consult on the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking
- Provide expertise to Wells Fargo senior leadership on innovative Data Management business solutions
- Strategically engage with Wells Fargo personnel.
- Incremental data defect dispositioning. (daily)
- Support Veritas Issues Intake Process. Compare Veritas data issues vs. open data defects in EDQDM. (daily)
- Produce high priority data defect reporting package. (weekly)
- Assess high priority SLA breaches, send escalation emails, manage responses, produce reporting. (weekly)
- Extract Risk Scorecard details and draft executive summary package. (monthly)
- Research KRI metric breaches, and draft summary response(s). (monthly)
- Assess Issues with data flags for themes, missed due dates etc. to be used in executive reporting. (monthly)
- Control Execution related to data defects, including revising control procedures as needed. (monthly)
- Validate monthly Domain Council data and create evidence of review for testing. (Review wide array of data points in source data vs. Domain Council deck and confirm completeness and accuracy. Escalate deficiencies and save evidence of review.)(monthly)
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Advanced user of Excel to include creating and working with Pivot Tables.
- Experience with data defect lifecycle and remediation.
- Experience extracting from PowerBI dashboards, organizing and pivoting large quantities of data. Must be 100% precise, these data are relied upon for a high priority workstream.
- Understanding of the Data Management Policy, Procedures, Data Defect Playbook (preferred).
- Experience with Veritas and the Issue Management Lifecycle, understanding of the Issue Management Lifecycle and DMP, DD Playbook (preferred).
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Professionalism and confidence to interact (primarily via email) with Senior Managers, Directors and Executives relating to SLA breaches and action plans.
- Experience preparing executive ready PowerPoint decks. Must source data from PowerBI dashboard, compare to previous data set, identify deltas, develop insights and highlight concerns.
