Join us as a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer within the Chief Operating Office Technology Applications Team at Wells Fargo. As part of an agile team, you will collaborate with business product owners, principal engineers, and systems architects to design, implement, and support cutting-edge technology solutions across multiple product domains. As a key player in driving business impact, you will utilize your deep technical expertise and problem-solving skills to enhance code quality, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions. By partnering with product owners, you will ensure the successful implementation of features that span multiple teams and domains, contributing to the achievement of key business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute on moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Resolve moderately complex issues to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead moderately complex to complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments.
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments.
- Review moderately complex to complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients’ needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals.
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
- Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience with full Software Development Life Cycle using Agile
- Experience with building enterprise applications using Java.
- Previous Mainframe experience
- Self-starter that can complex requirements and independently execute projects.
- Strong technical skills in Java, SpringBoot, .NET frameworks, SQL Server, LINQ, Unit testing. Azure DevOps, OpenShift, Kubernetes, React
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Should have strong communication and presentation skill
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical, decision-making and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience on Java, Microservices, PCF
- Cloud Certifications AZURE or GCP
- Experience in working for Financial Services Companies
