About the Role
This role is responsible for administering anesthesia management plans, collaborating with anesthesiologists, and maintaining patient documentation. The successful candidate will be a licensed registered nurse or certified registered nurse anesthetist with a strong foundation in nursing practice and a commitment to ongoing education and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements anesthesia management plans in collaboration with the anesthesiologist
- Administers anesthetic agents and calculates doses
- Maintains accurate and comprehensive patient records
- Responds to emergency situations and establishes airways as needed
- Provides training and guidance to residents, students, and staff on airway management techniques
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in nurse anesthesia
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
