Full time (80 hours biweekly)
Monday - Friday 7am - 330pm
Weekend and holiday rotation
Weekend hours vary from 6A-2:30P and 10:30A-7P in the cafeteria
General Summary
Performs a variety of duties in connection with receiving, storing and distribution of foodstuffs.
Duties and Responsibilities **(Has Essential Food Services Responsibilities as well)
Essential Functions:
- Performs tasks relative to receiving, inspecting, storing, distributing and delivering of various foodstuffs and supplies ordered.
- Receives incoming materials, supplies, and equipment and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment.
- Loads or unloads material, equipment, merchandise or supplies from automobiles, trucks or other vehicles.
- Detects and takes corrective action concerning defective and damaged merchandise and reports unusual conditions to supervisor.
Common Expectations:
- Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment and safety standards.
- Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings.
- Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
