Certification Details
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NIH Stroke Certification
- Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Department at WellSpan York Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
- Shift options: 3p-3a or 7p-7a, flexible for travelers.
- Minimum experience required: 2 years.
- First-time travelers not accepted.
- RTO: Maximum 7 days, weekends every 3rd weekend, holidays as needed.
- Current Pennsylvania state nursing license required.
- BLS - Basic Life Support certification required.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 90 days of start.
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification may be required depending on unit needs.
- NIH Stroke Certification required due to facility's stroke specialization.
- Shift is either 3p-3a or 7p-7a, with flexibility for travelers.
- Every 3rd weekend required.
- Call requirements: n/a.
- Emergency Transitional Care Unit (ETCU) is a 22-bed expansion of the Emergency Department.
- Tobacco and fragrance-free facility.
- Could care for COVID patients.
