Job Description

Job Title : CVOR Technician

Job Specialty : Surgical Services - Cardiac Open Heart Surgery

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (06 : 00 - 16 : 30)

Guaranteed Hours : Not specified

Experience : Minimum 2 years in CVOR

License : Must have PA or multi-state license in-hand

Certifications : NBSTSA, BLS

Must-Have : EPIC experience, Level I trauma experience, open heart experience

Job Description :

• Schedule requirements include working four 10-hour days with alternating days off.
• Required to take 1-2 on-call days per week with a 30-minute response time.
• Every third or fourth weekend on-call from Friday 4 : 30 PM until Monday 6 : 00 AM.
• Holiday shifts are scheduled as needed.
• Candidate may be required to care for patients with COVID-19.
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance-free.
• Up to 7 days of requested time off are allowed.
• Potential floating to other units as needed.
• Clinical pre-screen required; candidate will be reviewed for clinical fit.
• Manager will conduct interviews for final decision.
• Modules are required to be completed pre-start and generally take 5-6 hours.
