Job Details

  • Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Department at WellSpan York Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
  • Shift options : 3p-3a or 7p-7a, flexible for travelers.
  • Minimum experience required : 2 years.
  • First-time travelers not accepted.
  • RTO : Maximum 7 days, weekends every 3rd weekend, holidays as needed.

    • Job Requirements

  • Current Pennsylvania state nursing license required.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support certification required.
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification may be required based on unit needs.
  • NIH Stroke Certification required due to facility's stroke specialization.

    • Schedule Information

  • Shift is either 3p-3a or 7p-7a, with flexibility for travelers.
  • Every 3rd weekend required.
  • Holidays as needed.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Emergency Department (ED) may require floating to Emergency Transitional Care Unit as needed.

    • Additional Details

  • Tobacco and fragrance-free facility.
