As a Foster Care Supervisor with the Wellspring Kentwood team, you will be part of a team committed to delivering exceptional services to children and families in and around Kent, Muskegon and the surrounding counties. You will bring a bachelors degree in social work or a related human services field, 4 years of experience in child welfare and 2 years of experience working in MiSACWIS. You will have be reliable, and have a responsible attitude, a compassionate approach and a commitment to quality in everything you do.
As Foster Care Quality and Performance Supervisor, you will :
- Implements and manages the program’s quality assurance and improvement plan.
- Provides reports using individual / case level data
- Supports the development of methodologies to evaluate the performance of the foster care program
- Aligns evaluation methodologies and performance indicators with those used in other Wellspring reports
- Provide data and analysis to support the operation of the Foster Care program
- Works closely with Wellspring’s IT and other support department staff, to identify strategies for collecting needed program information (including but not limited to, utilization, outcomes, demographics, compliance, etc.), from Wellspring Information Systems
- Provides, at a minimum, quarterly analysis and reports on data for various quality management projects, improvement projects, and outcome measurements
- Facilitates program evaluation in conjunction with staff through outcome development and reporting
- Implements a feedback system to address programmatic and systemic improvement opportunities while encouraging a culture of improvement
- Consults with Foster Care Division Director and Associate Division Director on any external and internal reviews / audits, and ensures implementation and monitoring of all plans of correction
- Serves as the point person for MiSACWIS and Evolv related technical assistance (including but not limited to, initiating and following up on MiSACWIS helpdesk tickets, payment authorizations, caseload assignments, case closures, placement moves, and case status changes)
- Provides supervision to a team of support staff who have various clerical roles
