As a statewide nonprofit serving seniors, families and children in need of support, we take a whole-person approach to our organization and delivery of our services — because we believe we must find the strengths in people and build on these for lasting change to occur.

As a Housekeeper with the Frankenmuth Skilled Nursing and Rehab Campus at Wellspring, you’ll be part of a team of nurses, CNAs and senior support staff committed to helping seniors and families in Frankenmuth. In this position, you'll be directly supporting your community in Saginaw County to provide services to seniors. In this position, a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior housekeeping experience is helpful, but not essential.

As a housekeeper/laundry aide, you will:

• Follow cleaning schedule abiding by Standard Precautions, hazardous waste handling and cleaning agent use policies and procedures

• • Clean assigned areas, toilets, sinks, mirrors, trash can, furnishings, and fixtures including furniture, floors, walls, sills, closets, and doors according to established housekeeping procedures
• • Empty wastebaskets from both bathrooms and resident rooms, and common places as directed; replacing with clean plastic bag and one extra bag at the bottom of the wastebasket

• Clean general common areas, dining, office, and employee areas according to assignment schedule

• Assist with laundry duties as necessary

• Indicates that this task is considered high risk for exposure to bio-hazardous materials. Standard Precautions must be followed in all job duties.
