Hello! Thank you for your interest in joining the Wellspring team as a part-time Sales Counselor. As a Sales Counselor with Wellspring, you'll be part of a team who are committed to help and support families and seniors throughout Saginaw and surrounding area. You will bring experience of two years in sales support, customer service or leadership - preferably in a senior services environment or with a non-tangible product / service. You will have a high school diploma - an associates is preferred with a focus in business development, sales or marketing. You will also have a valid Michigan driver's license, be reliable, have a responsible attitude, a compassionate approach and a commitment to quality in everything you do .
As a Sales Counselor, you will :
- Respond to prospective inquiries via phone, website, walk-in and appointments within an appropriate time frame : 1 business day or before close of business each day
- Assist with providing information about the Campus, providing tours and qualifying prospects with the end result of closing the sales process
- Maximize occupancy and revenue using prospect centered selling strategies.
- Maximize time in the selling zone that is invested in sales activity that directly impacts conversion ratios, especially the visit to close ratio.
- Sales activities are spent face to face, voice to voice, planning for meaningful advances and conducting creative and personalized follow-up to include home visits / outside sales with prospects.
- Must have the ability to create and review prospect life stories as well as motivators as indicated by problems, difficulties and dissatisfactions they face in their current living situation.
- Consistently meets or exceeds monthly sales goals as established by the Executive Director
- Maintains current prospect database by entering all prospect information gathered, and by documenting all prospect interactions, into the CRM in a timely fashion.
- Represents the Campus through community involvement and networking as appropriate
- Plans and carries out campus events in coordination with the Sales Manager
- Visits prospective residents and evaluates for move-in appropriateness, when required.
- Coordinates assessments.
- Pipeline management : manages lead pipeline on a daily basis and accurately records in our CRM to ensure up to date information and status of prospect, as well as maintain accurate sales forecasts.
- Responsible for the entire sales process from application to lease while providing support upon move-in.
- Ability to work independently without supervision in managing weekend and after-hours sales
- Maintains positive interpersonal relationships with clients, other professionals, co-workers and the public.
- Maintains regular communication with supervisor concerning goals, program development and service areas
