A career as a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) is a challenging yet rewarding experience. Our team provides specialized care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures, including open-heart surgeries, coronary artery bypass grafts (CABG), valve replacements, and other complex cardiac procedures.
About the Role:
- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.
- Administer medications and anesthetics as prescribed by the surgical team, ensuring patient safety and hemodynamic stability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot mechanical cardiac support devices, such as intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), ventricular assist devices (VADs), or extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
