Job Description:
The CT Technologist plays a vital role in providing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans to patients, delivering critical diagnostic information to physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans on patients, ensuring accurate and timely imaging services.
- Operate CT equipment, adjust settings as needed, and maintain and troubleshoot the machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure proper image quality and provide additional scans or follow-up imaging as requested.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient conditions, test results, and any issues encountered during the scanning process.
Credentials and Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Completion of a formal CT training program is preferred.
- Previous experience as a CT Technologist is preferred, but new graduates with clinical training may also be considered.
Work Environment:
This travel job is available in Waimea, Hawaii, with an 8-hour shift schedule, working evenings. The pay package is based on 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
