About the Role
Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join their team as a travel CT Technologist. This exciting opportunity allows the successful candidate to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing their expertise in computed tomography scanning to provide high-quality diagnostic images for patients.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to capture detailed diagnostic images, adhering to radiation safety protocols and ensuring patient comfort and cooperation.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns to ensure a smooth experience.
- Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and timely communication of results.
- Collaborate with the medical team to guide patients through the scanning process, providing post-scan instructions and follow-up care as needed.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field, with completion of a formal CT training program preferred.
- Current certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or equivalent, with certification in CT (ARRT-CT) preferred or required within a specified period after hire.
- Previous experience as a CT Technologist is preferred, but new graduates with clinical training may also be considered.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
