Job Overview

Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN Director Skilled Nursing for a travel nursing job in Maine. This role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing care, ensuring compliance with regulations, staffing, and operational standards. The successful candidate will lead the nursing team, ensure optimal patient outcomes, and maintain a safe and efficient environment for residents with varying levels of care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the nursing staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing care.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and other healthcare professionals to develop and maintain individualized care plans for residents.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Monitor clinical outcomes, quality of care, and ensure continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resident health and satisfaction.
• Oversee medication management, treatment planning, and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
• Ensure appropriate care levels are provided to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
• Manage and maintain accurate clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines.

Qualifications

* Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
* Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
* Certification: Certified Director of Nursing (CDON) or Certified in Gerontology preferred.
