Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Specialist to join our team for a travel position in Tennessee.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac arrhythmias through specialized procedures in the electrophysiology lab.
- Operate advanced equipment, monitor patient vitals, and ensure accurate placement of catheters and devices during procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and the success of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
Qualifications
To be successful as an Electrophysiology Specialist, you should possess:
- An Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Registration with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Previous experience in an electrophysiology lab or cardiac cath lab is preferred.
