Job Description
This travel nursing position involves working in an ICU setting where you will be responsible for providing high-acuity care to critically ill patients. The ICU RN is accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care for patients experiencing life-threatening conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret complex medical equipment to ensure patients receive appropriate care.
- Perform advanced clinical procedures, including arterial and central line placement, intubation, and blood gas analysis.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide timely interventions and manage critical care treatments.
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
